MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis and Oklahoma State squared off in an exciting and physical match that ended in a 2-2 double overtime draw Friday night at Mike Rose Soccer Complex. The Tigers (5-2-1) trailed on two separate occasions but managed to fight back both times to send the match to overtime for the first time this season.
"I was very pleased with the way we played. That was an exciting game," Memphis head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "This was a true test for us, because we didn't perform very well last Sunday against Oklahoma. Our players saw that if you have the right mentality that you can play with anybody.
