MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Tigers exploded for a season-high seven-run inning and pulled out a 9-0 win over No. 25 UCF to split a doubleheader Friday at FedExPark. Memphis (9-18, 1-4 AAC) lost the first game of the doubleheader, 7-1, to the UCF Knights.
The teams will square off in the rubber match of the series Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Memphis is looking for its first series win since Opening Weekend against Western Kentucky.
Kyle Ouellette went 3-for-4 with two runs score in the second game of the doubleheader. He finished the day with four total hits.
