Facing the tough task of playing No. 15 Kentucky on the road, Memphis put together its most complete performance of the season and held out for a 0-0 draw in double overtime Saturday night. The Wildcats were forced to play with 10-men from the 69th minute on after a red card.
"We didn't get the win tonight but it's progress in the right direction," Memphis head coach Richard Mulrooney said. "I think this was the most complete performance we've had from our team start to finish and that includes an extra 20 minutes in overtime.
