Steve Macy, who has worked the past eight years in a senior management role at New Mexico State University, has been named Senior Associate Athletic Director, External Relations at the University of Memphis. UofM Athletic Director Tom Bowen made the announcement on Wednesday.
At Memphis, Macy will be responsible for the development and management of strategic and communications plan for the department while providing executive oversight of athletic marketing and promotions, athletic communications and ticket operations. He will also serve as the licensing manager for the department and serve as a liaison to Tiger Sport Properties.
