MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In the final regular season match of the year, the University of Memphis women's soccer team won in double overtime over UCF by a score of 1-0. Marie Levasseur scored the game-winning goal in the 109th minute of action to keep the Tigers perfect at home.
The Tigers improve to 14-3-1 overall and finish the conference season with an 8-1 record. With the victory, Memphis has secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
"It's a special group of kids," said head coach Brooks Monaghan. "When you have a special group of kids, they do some pretty special things.
