RALEIGH, N.C. and OXFORD, Miss. – University of Memphis' set a school record in the women's 10,000 meters to lead the Tigers in action at the 2017 Raleigh Relays late Friday night.
Ladd, a junior, bettered the previous mark by nearly two minutes with a time of 35:31.73. The previous program record was 37:21.51 by Daniele Riendeau in 2006. Ladd placed 20 in Friday's event.
In action at the 2017 Joe Walker Invitational hosted by Ole Miss, the Tigers claimed three titles and posted two other top-three performances. and won the men's 5000 meters and men's javelin, respectively, and took the women's javelin crown.
