MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis senior center Drew Kyser has been named as a semifinalist for the National Football Foundation's William V. Campbell Trophy, presented annually to the nation's top football scholar-athlete.
A native of Opelika, Ala., Kyser has appeared in all 43 games in his college career with 42 starts, paving the way for record-setting Memphis offenses along the way. Last season the Tigers set program records with 592 points scored, 6,917 total yards of offense and 4,355 passing yards. Kyser has led the offensive line for the top three offenses in program history in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
