MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Hunter Goodman, a catcher from Arlington High School, has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the University of Memphis baseball squad for the 2019 season, head coach Daron Schoenrock announced.
"Hunter's decision to become a Tiger has our coaching staff thrilled. There's no question he is one of the top hitters in the state and has the defensive skills behind the plate to strengthen our catching corps. Hunter also can be valuable as a dual position corner outfielder or third baseman and that gives his power bat a chance to contribute early in his career," Schoenrock said.
