MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis women's basketball head coach Melissa McFerrin has been granted a two-year contract extension through the 2020-21 season in the wake of the highest-ranked recruiting class and plans for a renovation at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
With the Elma Roane Fieldhouse renovations on the horizon and a top 35 recruiting class entering this fall, the University is extending Coach McFerrin with a two-year contract," said Bowen. "I am excited for the direction and growth of our program."
McFerrin enters her 12th season at the helm of the Memphis program in 2019-20 and with the start of the new season, the Tigers welcome the highest-ranked recruiting class under McFerrin.
