MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis junior quarterback Seth Henigan was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List on Monday, the Maxwell Club announced. The Maxwell Award has been presented to the College Player of the Year since 1937 and is named in honor of Robert "Tiny" Maxwell who was a former standout at Swarthmore College and a renowned sportswriter and football official.
In 2022, Henigan completed 286-of-446 passes for 22 touchdowns, while also rushing for 289 yards and four scores. The junior will be the youngest third year starting quarterback (20 years old) in the FBS this coming season.
