Henigan Earns Freshman All-America Honors

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis true freshman quarterback Seth Henigan was named to the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-America team presented by Chris Doering Mortgage on Monday.

Henigan is the sixth Memphis player to earn FWAA Freshman All-America honors and the fourth Tiger in the last five years to earn the prestigious accolade. Henigan was one of two players in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) to make the team, joining kick returner Brian Battie of South Florida.

Henigan was outstanding for the Tigers in 2021, starting 11 of 12 games, missing just one due to injury.
