MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After averaging 20.5 points per game in Memphis' two contests last week, senior guard Tyler Harris has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
Harris came off the bench against SMU on Thursday and at Tulsa on Sunday and played an average of 30.2 minutes per game, leading the team in scoring at 20.5 points per outing. He shot 50.0 percent from 3-point range (7-14) and 60.0 percent from the floor overall (15-25) last week.
The Memphis, Tenn., native began the week with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting against SMU, and he was critical in the Tigers' win over Tulsa with a season-high 24 points including a season-best six 3-pointers.
