MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis rising sophomore Tanalya Gordon is scheduled to compete in the 2019 USA Track and Field Junior Championships Sunday afternoon. Gordon is in the women's long jump, which is slated for a 12:15 p.m. (CT) start.
With a top-two finish, Gordon would advance to the Pan American Championships in Costa Rica in late July.
"This is an awesome opportunity for Tanalya. She's earned it," said Memphis head coach Kevin Robinson. "She's one of the best young jumpers in the NCAA this year.
