MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Notching his fourth and fifth postseason All-America honors, Memphis baseball rookie Hunter Goodman was named to Baseball America's and D1Baseball's Freshman All-America teams, the organizations announced Friday.
In addition to Baseball America (first team) and D1Baseball (second team), Goodman earned Freshman All-America recognition from Collegiate Baseball, NCBWA and Perfect Game earlier this month.
Goodman is the first rookie in program history to earn Freshman All-American accolades from multiple outlets. He was also named the American Athletic Conference's Newcomer Position Player of the year and earned first-team All-AAC honors at the end of the regular season.
