MEMPHIS – Senior women's golfer Emily Goldenstein carded two season-low rounds in 54 holes of competition at the River Landing Classic to finish runner-up to Rutgers' Emily Mills. Goldenstein's third round 69 on Tuesday, which tied her season low round from the Moon Golf Classic and from Monday's first round, moved her up three spots in the standings to second place. She finished with a 213, one stroke off of Mills' medalist score.
As a team, Memphis finished third at the event, finishing behind number 50 ranked Campbell (857), and number 31 ranked East Carolina (868), four strokes ahead of the Lady Tigers' contingent (871).
