CLEARWATER, Fla. – Two Memphis Tigers earned All-Conference honors after Memphis finished the regular season strong, as both RHP Landon Gartman and DH Jacob Compton were named First Team All-Conference. Gartman was the lone unanimous selection among the First Team, while the right-handed starter was also named the conference's Newcomer Pitcher of the Year.
Coming off of one of his best starts of the season, Gartman finished the regular season 6-1 with a 3.53 ERA over 14 appearances, 12 starts. He capped off his impressive campaign with a victory over Tulane Thursday where he allowed only one man to reach base and struck out 10 over five innings.
