MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Tigers seniors Maxi Galizzi and Parker Lackland were honored by the American Athletic Conference for their efforts in Memphis' 4-1 win at SMU Friday night in the regular season finale.
The pair helped Memphis secure the third-seed in the AAC Men's Soccer Championship with the win, which begins Wednesday in Tulsa, Okla.
Galizzi, the league's Offensive Player of the Week, fired all four of his shot attempts on the night on-goal, and he bagged a brace in just under a four-minute span in the first half.
