MEMPHIS – Quarterback and wide receiver have been invited to the 62 Annual Touchdown Club of Columbus Awards, Saturday. The annual banquet is held in Columbus, Ohio, and honors players projected to be national standouts in 2017.
Ferguson's first season at Memphis was a record-setting one, as the junior from Matthews, N.C., passed for 3,698 yards and a school-record 32 touchdowns in 2016. Ferguson was second in the American Athletic Conference with 284.5 yards passing per game and with a 152.6 passer efficiency rating.
