Evan Bell, an outfielder from Oak Park and River Forest High School in Oak Park, Ill., has signed his National Letter of Intent and will join the University of Memphis baseball squad, head coach Daron Schoenrock announced Wednesday.
"Evan possesses great power potential and is someone we predict will find his way into the middle of the lineup someday. He also posses great leadership qualities and we are thrilled with his decision to become a Tiger," said Schoenrock.
Bell batted .333 with seven doubles, a triple and a home run for an Oak Park and River Forest team that finished third in the state in 2015.
