STORRS, Conn. – Memphis committed four errors and allowed six unearned runs as the Tigers lost 10-7 at UConn and dropped the series to the Huskies Saturday at J.O. Christian Field. The Tigers (20-11, 2-3 AAC) will try to salvage the series against the Huskies (18-10, 5-0 AAC) Sunday at 10 a.m. (CT).
Memphis and UConn combined for nine total runs in the first inning and it was the Huskies that were on top, leading 5-4.
The Tigers plated four runs on four hits and one UConn error. The Huskies answered right back with five runs on four hits and two Tiger errors.
