MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Coming off their first American Athletic Conference win of the season, the Tigers prepped for game two of the series today. But the ECU offense exploded in the top of the first inning which would lead to Memphis facing he 12-5 loss.
Following today's game, Memphis moves to 13-19 overall.

How it happened:
- East Carolina opened up with a bang in the top of the first inning, scoring 11 of their 12 runs to start the game.
- The Tigers got two runs back in the bottom of the first inning when Gracie Morton and Kendall Lee both hit solo homeruns over the left field fence to cut their deficit to 11-2.
