MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A day after its fourth doubleheader sweep of the season to clinch a league series against USF, Memphis junior Chris Durham and freshman Hunter Goodman were named to The American's Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Both played a pivotal role in Sunday's first win against the Bulls on Sunday, a 1-0 victory in seven innings.
On the mound, Durham scattered three hits across 6.2 shutout innings. The lefty struck out seven Bulls and moved to a 4-2 record. Durham tossed three clean innings and retired 17 of the 22 batters he faced.
