MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis senior forward Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu has been named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week and freshman guard Coriah Beck has been named Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
In two games for the Tigers last week, both starts, Fankam Mendjiadeu averaged 13.5 points and 14 rebounds per game. In Wednesday's win over Cincinnati, she recorded a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds, and she also blocked four shots. In Saturday's victory over Tulsa, she recorded another double-double scoring 10 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.
