AKRON, Ohio – The University of Memphis rifle team closed its 2018-19 campaign at the 2019 Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) Championships this weekend. The Tigers placed eighth.
The GARC Championships were held at the Stile Athletics Field House on the University of Akron campus.
The Tigers posted a 4643 aggregate, the program's highest at the GARC Championships since 2012 when that squad shot a 4653 aggregate. Memphis improved its team aggregate by 19 points from last year's GARC Championships (4624).
In Friday's smallbore action, junior Levi Clark shot a 583 and advanced to the discipline's final relay, where he placed seventh with a 398.
