NASHVILLE, Tenn. – University of Memphis' did it again – in a Vanderbilt-hosted meet.
The Tigers senior sprinter shattered his previous 60 meters record of 6.67 with a 6.61 effort to highlight Saturday action at the 2019 Vanderbilt Invitational. His previous record time of 6.67 was set at the 2017 Music City Challenge, which also was hosted by Vanderbilt.
DeMoss won the 60-meters title, and the event crown was the fifth of his indoor career. His 6.61 time is tied for fifth-best at the NCAA Division I level.
