SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – University of Memphis sophomore forward has been named as one of 10 finalists for the 2017 Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year, an award given by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The annual honor is in its third year of recognizing the top power forwards in Division I men's college basketball.
"Karl Malone is recognized as a fierce competitor who delivered every time he set foot on the court, at both the collegiate and professional level," said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame. "As we recognize and evaluate the best power forwards in the college game today, we will be looking for a player who displays these same qualities.
