MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis senior forward Kyvon Davenport earned American Athletic Conference recognition Monday following his 31-point, 11-rebound performance Saturday against third-ranked Tennessee.
Davenport came off the bench to score a career-high 31 points and match a career-high with 11 rebounds in the 102-92 loss to the Volunteers at FedExForum to earn a spot on the league's Weekly Honor Roll.
Davenport scored 26 points in the second half, including 18 straight during one stretch to keep the Tigers (5-5) in contention.
For Davenport, it was his second Weekly Honor Roll award of the season.
