NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Memphis men's and women's cross country teams were named among the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division I All-Academic Teams for the 2021 season.
To qualify for All-Academic honors, teams must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
The men's 3.645 GPA ranked ninth nationally in a field of 150 different programs that qualified. The women had an impressive 3.657 cumulative, ranking above several fellow American Athletic Conference members including Houston, Temple, Wichita State, UCF and South Florida.
