EUGENE, Ore. – What a way to start the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the Tigers!
University of Memphis senior Michael Criticos earned All-America honors and the 4x400-meter relay set a school record to pace the Tigers' effort in Wednesday action at the NCAA meet. The University of Oregon's historic Hayward Field is the host site for the four-day track and field event.
Criticos placed fifth in the men's javelin and earned United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America first team distinction. The 4x400-meter relay ran a school-record time of 3:07.
