UNCASVILLE, Conn. – University of Memphis junior forward Cheyenne Creighton and junior guard Brea Elmore have been named to the American Athletic Conference Third-Team as announced by the conference Thursday afternoon. This is the first time since joining The American that the Tigers have had two members on either the first, second, or third team in the same season.
The 2014 season saw two members on the All-Freshman Team as well as a first-team selection.
This is the first time that either player has earned a postseason accolade. Both players have seen a significant increase in playing time from a year ago and combined, they account for almost 50 percent of the Tiger scoring.
