ORLANDO, Fla. – A courageous comeback fell short as Memphis men's tennis dropped a 4-3 decision against No. 46 USF Friday morning in the quarterfinal round of The American Tennis Championships.
Memphis (11-14) erased a 3-0 deficit with wins at the bottom three courts of its singles lineup to draw the match even, but USF seized a second-set win on court 3 to build momentum and seal the contest.
