MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Track & Field wrapped up a busy weekend of running and jumping in Nashville at the Music City Challenge and throwers concluded the second day of competition at the Birmingham CrossPlex. Junior Vincent Chenier took down the Memphis 3,000-meter record with a personal-best time of 8:12.34.
"Vince [Chenier] ran a great race tonight and him breaking the school record is great to see," head coach Kevin Robinson said. "I thought Simone [Harper] and Gabby [Cross] both ran very well. It's great to see them rounding into shape.
