MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Carson Hall, a right-handed pitcher from Randolph School in Huntsville, Ala., has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the University of Memphis baseball squad for the 2018 season, head coach Daron Schoenrock announced Monday.
"Carson's competitive nature and ability to pitch in a variety of roles with his unique 'drop down' arm slot will allow him to compete for various types of roles in his Tiger career. We feel he can impact our pitching staff immediately in 2018 and provide that 'different look' necessary to attack Division I hitters. Being the son of longtime successful college and high school coach, Lee Hall, Carson has a great feel and understanding of the game that will serve him well at Memphis.
