EUGENE, Ore. – University of Memphis' placed in the top-10 in the women's pole vault in second-day action at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championships Thursday. She finished 10 in the event. On the men's side, was 17 in the men's decathlon.

For the third-straight year, Carmichael placed 10 in the women's pole vault, this time with a mark of 13-9.25 (4.20m). Her 13-9.25 vault tied her best mark in the event at the NCAA Championships.
