MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Quarterback , who started all 14 games for the University of Memphis football team last season, has been granted an additional year of college eligibility it was announced Friday. White received the sixth-year clock extension due to multiple medical hardships he experienced while at Arizona State.
In 2016, White suffered a season-ending foot injury that cost him the remainder of the 2016 and all of the 2017 football seasons. He had appeared in just three games in 2016, with one start against UCLA (the game in which he was injured) after sitting out the 2015 season as a redshirt.
