MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Blake Wimberley, a right-handed pitcher from First Assembly Christian School in Memphis, has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the University of Memphis baseball squad for the 2019 season, head coach Daron Schoenrock announced.
"It's always exciting to add home grown talent to our roster and we have thoroughly enjoyed watching Blake's development the past few years. He has a very projectable arsenal and can develop into a power arm with the ability to pitch in a variety of roles early in his career at Memphis," Schoenrock said.
A two-time Perfect Game All-American, Wimberley recorded a 2.
