FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 2 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks used a pair of three-run innings, as the Memphis Tigers fell 8-4 at Baum-Walker Stadium. The Razorbacks posted three runs in both the third and sixth frames and were held scoreless in just three innings in Wednesday's matchup. The loss was Memphis' fourth against a top-five SEC opponent this season, as the Tigers fell to 0-8 on the road.
Like the Tigers did earlier in the season against both Ole Miss and Vanderbilt, they led early against the Razorbacks. Memphis (9-10) struck in the opening frame against Miller Pleimann (ND) without the benefit of a hit.
