WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. – Freshman and junior won their way to the main doubles draw on the opening day of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional held at Purdue University, Thursday. The Lady Tiger tandem picked up a pair of doubles victories to become one of four entries to move on from the 16 team qualifying draw.
For their effort, Berres and Paul will open the main draw of doubles against the top seed of Mami Adachi and Aldila Sufjiadi, Friday, at 8 a.m. That meeting will be the first opportunity for the duo to pick up a win over a seeded opponent in Paul's first weekend of play this fall.
