JONESBORO, Ark. – The University of Memphis baseball team exploded for 15 hits and three long balls to win its mid-week game at Arkansas State, 13-4, on Tuesday night at Tomlinson Stadium to complete the season sweep of the Red Wolves. Brayland Skinner was on base all five times he came to the plate and ended the game a home-run shy of the cycle.
With the win, Memphis improves to 23-22 (5-10 AAC) on the season. The Red Wolves slipped to 15-26 on the year with the loss.
"We got great pitching performances and capitalized offensively with guys in scoring position," head coach Kerrick Jackson said.
