MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis baseball added another signee to its spring 2020 class, as All-State honoree Sam Slaughter inked his letter of intent to play for the Tigers.
A native of Smyrna, Tenn., Slaughter signed his NLI after a standout prep career with Stewarts Creek High School.
"We are excited to add Sam's left handed bat, speed and his aggressive style of play to this class," head coach Daron Schoenrock said of the outfielder. "His hard-nosed approach to the game will impact our locker room, and we can't wait for Sam to become a Tiger.
