MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis freshman forward Precious Achiuwa, the only freshman in the nation averaging a double-double, was the recipient of the most awards Sunday night at the Tigers basketball banquet at the school's university center.
Achiuwa earned Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year recognition, along with being presented the Rebound Leader Award.
Sophomore guard Alex Lomax and freshman guard Jayden Hardaway took home two awards apiece. Lomax earned the Assist Leader Award and the Steal Leader Award, while Hardaway was presented the Sportsmanship Award and the All-Academic Award.
