The University of Memphis football team opened fall camp Friday in a day-long schedule that included a 24-period practice on the fields of the Billy J Murphy Complex.
"Today was wonderful," said Head Coach Ryan Silverfield. "Obviously a lot of excitement getting the guys out there on the field. You think about it and again we keep talking about this, it's been seven and a half months since we've played football and since these young men have been able to put on a helmet. There are a lot of new faces, but a lot of excitement for the 2020 football season and it's really nice to see a lot of enthusiasm out there.
