MEMPHIS, Tennessee – In the eyes of Mike Norvell, fall camp started Monday. Yes the Tigers already had eight practices and their annual Fan Fest under their respective belts, but it still started Monday. Why? Not because summer classes were done and the team had slid in to its in-season morning practice routine. It was because 'camp weather' had arrived, with heat indexes pushing past 100.
"Today was the first day of fall camp in my eyes," Norvell said. "We started off well and had good energy. But as we went on, we found some guys who sparked, but not enough.
