Dillon Brooks scored eight points in the first 10 minutes of the game to pace the Grizzlies early on. The Grizzlies stretched their lead to as many as nine points in the first quarter before the Bulls tied the game at 22-22 heading to the second quarter. Memphis ripped off a 14-2, highlighted by an alley-oop slam from Brandon Clarke, to grab a 46-43 lead over the visitors.
