Desmond Bane sparked the decisive 21-8 run in the fourth quarter with his shooting from beyond the arc. Bane totaled 23 points (8-17 FG) with five assists and four rebounds. The Grizzlies drained a season-high 19 threes with six coming from Bane, who broke Mike Miller’s franchise record of 202 3-pointers in a single season (2005-06). Bane has connected on 204 3-pointers this season, the 10th most in the NBA.
De’Anthony Melton knocked down a career-high tying six 3-pointers on his way to 23 points and four rebounds off the bench.
