The Memphis Grizzlies dropped the first game of a three-game road trip, as the Kings overcame a 20-point lead to knock off the Grizzlies 128-123 inside Golden1 Center on Thursday night.
Memphis started off the game strong, as they scored 42 points in the first quarter, tying the most points they have scored in a quarter this season (12/28 at Denver). The Grizzlies were helped early by Jaren Jackson Jr., who tallied 14 points while knocking down three triples in the first quarter. This marked Jackson’s 23rd consecutive game with at-least one three-pointer, good for the third longest streak in franchise history.
