As the Memphis Grizzlies await the official completion of their rumored transaction with the Utah Jazz, Mike Conley received the icing on the cake to his tenure with the only team he has known. The veteran point guard is bringing home two NBA awards for the 2018-19 season.
Conley took home two of the three NBA awards in which he had a legitimate shot at receiving. He won the Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year award and the annual Sportsmanship award. The one he missed out on was the season-long NBA Cares Community Assist Award, which was given to Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards.
