Air Force veteran Dan Nwaelele, is reportedly signed to the Memphis Grizzlies training camp roster. Recent signee Patrick Christopher’s contract was non-guaranteed. The Grizzlies seem to be going with a Hollins/Nwaelele tandem.

The 31-year old Nwaelele, had an opportunity to sign with the San Antonio Spurs as early as 2007. After completing active duty in 2012, Nwaelele played for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA D-League.
