The Memphis Grizzlies saw a huge overhaul in the last eight months or so. They lost the last remaining pieces of the Grit ‘N Grind era in Mike Conely and Marc Gasol, they took on a piece that they’ll eventually have to trade in Andre Iguodala, and they got more in young potential than they did in legitimate star power over the summer.
Now, the Grizzlies are thought of as a team with a lot of potential, but not a lot that’s going to carry them through the season. Most places project their over/under at 27.5, and to some, that number may even seem a little too high.
