With new beginnings usually come lots of questions. It’s certainly the case for the Memphis Grizzlies, whose re-building roster was almost entirely flipped over the offseason.
Memphis returns just six rotation players from last season. Of those six, Jaren Jackson Jr logged the most games in a Grizzlies uniform, with a paltry 58. The rest spent the bulk of the season injured, or playing for other teams.
Put more bluntly, most of this roster has never played together. On a young team with many new, ill-fitting, and temporary, parts, there will be lots to figure out.
Memphis won’t have to rush things.
